Kailwada gangrape: 3 shopkeepers surrender in court
Muzaffarnagar (UP), Jan 21: Three shopkeepers today surrendered before a court here in connection with the Kailwada gangrape case as they allegedly circulated a video of the alleged incident on social media.
Chief Judicial Magistrate Sunder Lal sent them to judicial custody till February 3, a prosecution official said here. Police registered a case under IT Act against the three shopkeepers -- Sandeep, Sanjay and Ashok for allegedly circulating the video on social media at Kailwada village under Khatoli police station in the district.

Police seized some "objectionable" items from their shops. A 32-year-old married woman was allegedly raped by two men two years ago. They had also filmed the entire incident and circulated the clip on the social media. The accused were allegedly blackmailing the victim since then.
