'Justice Loya died due to heart attack,' says Nagpur Police after thorough investigation

Nagpur Police who undertook a thorough investigation on CBI Judge BH Loya's death said that his death was due to a heart attack and that the postmortem & forensic reports confirm the same.

Speaking about on CBI Judge BH Loya's death, Shivaji Bodkhe, Joint Commissioner of Police, Nagpur said,'' the postmortem & forensic reports confirm that Loya's death was due to a heart attack.''

Meanwhile, Anuj Loya, son of special CBI judge B.H. Loya on Sunday said he had earlier been suspicious about his father's sudden death, but now no longer harboured doubts.

Judge Loya, who was hearing the Sohrabuddin Sheikh "fake encounter" case, had allegedly died of a cardiac arrest in Nagpur on December 1, 2014, when he had gone to attend the wedding of a colleague's daughter.
