JP Nadda Hails PM Modis Governance, Slams Congress for Misgovernance
BJP chief JP Nadda praised PM Modis positive impact on Indias political culture and governance, while criticizing the Congress for poor governance during their rule.
New Delhi, February 9: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President J.P. Nadda extolled Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership and governance, crediting him with transforming the nation's political culture and agenda. Addressing a conclave on good governance organized by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini, Nadda launched a veiled attack on the Congress and its allies, accusing them of poor governance during their tenure.

Shifting the Political Paradigm
Nadda highlighted the stark contrast between Prime Minister Modi's governance and previous regimes. He asserted that since 2014, there has been a significant shift in the country's political culture, with PM Modi ushering in a new era of good governance. Nadda commended the Prime Minister's unwavering commitment to improving governance and ensuring its benefits reach the common people.
Good Governance at the Grassroots
Nadda lauded the efforts of BJP-ruled states and their chief ministers in promoting good governance at the grassroots level. He emphasized that these states are dedicated to delivering effective and transparent governance to their citizens.
Critique of Vote Bank Politics
Without naming specific parties, Nadda criticized non-BJP governments of the past for engaging in divisive politics and vote bank politics. He asserted that such practices lead to bad governance, nepotism, corruption, and subjectivity in decision-making.
Focus on Poverty, Youth, Farmers, and Women
Nadda highlighted Prime Minister Modi's emphasis on addressing the needs of the poor, youth, farmers, and women. He explained that by focusing on these segments of society, the government can ensure the well-being of the entire nation.
Uniting the Nation
Nadda credited Prime Minister Modi with uniting the country and steering it away from the fragmentation caused by opposition parties. He praised the Prime Minister's commitment to inclusive development, encapsulated in the mantra of 'sabka saath, sabka vikas, sabka prayas' (collective efforts, inclusive growth, and all-round development).
Good Governance: A Collective Endeavor
Nadda emphasized that good governance is not merely a slogan but a spirit that requires dedication and commitment from all stakeholders. He stressed the importance of policymakers and stakeholders adhering to the principles of good governance to achieve its full potential.
Inspiration from PM Modi
Speaking at the event, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav lauded Prime Minister Modi's leadership and governance style. He expressed his admiration for the Prime Minister and stated that he considers him an ideal and an inspiration. Chief Minister Yadav affirmed his commitment to emulating the central government's effective functioning under Prime Minister Modi's guidance.
J.P. Nadda's address at the conclave highlighted the transformative impact of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's governance on India's political landscape.
