Leaving NDTV, joining CNN-IBN? Barkha Dutt breaks silence, finally

Writing on micro-blogging site Twitter, Dutt tweeted, "Sahara story entirely speculative; they've not spoken to me.If there's ever any news at my end, you will hear it from me."

— barkha dutt (@BDUTT) July 4, 2014 Earlier Sahara Samay reported that Dutt would end her association with NDTV and would join their one of the biggest competitors CNN-IBN.
The report was published on the same day when another well-known journalist and deputy editor of the channel confirmed her exit from the channel tweeting, "Goodbye CNN-IBN. God bless!".

— Sagarika Ghose (@sagarikaghose) July 3, 2014 Ghosh along with husband Rajdeep Sardesai had gone for an one month leave last month. Sardesai, who was the editor-in-chief of CNN-IBN, too had called it a quit.
Earlier it was reported that Ghosh would not return to the channel, which is a part of the Network18 group, now owned by Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Industries and might join Headlines Today, owned by TV Today Network.
