Here's why Journalist Barkha Dutt files police complaint

New Delhi, Mar 9: Journalist Barkha Dutt has said that she is getting threat calls over her reportage on ongoing JNU controversy. She has also filed a complaint with the police regarding the same.

While recording her statements to magistrate under CrPC 164, Dutt said that a unknown caller is threathening her and also making sexually abused statements.

According to report, a case has been registered under various section including Section 509 of the IPC( word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman).

Barkha Dutt has also written about the whole incident on her Twitter timeline.
