JJP Calls For Haryana Government Shake-Up Amid BJP Alliance Challenges
The ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana is confronted with a fresh challenge as three Independent MLAs have withdrawn their support from the Nayab Singh Saini-led government. The announcement was made during a press conference in Rohtak, dealing a blow to the BJP ahead of the Lok Sabha elections.
The decision to withdraw support was announced by the three MLAs, Sombir Sangwan, Randhir Gollen, and Dharampal Gonder, during a press conference in Rohtak. The decision to withdraw support and extend it to the Congress was announced by Gonder, as reported by Hindustan Times.

JJP Calls For Haryana Government Toppling
"This decision has been taken on various issues, including those related to farmers," he explained. The announcement was made in the presence of former Haryana chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda and state Congress chief Udai Bhan.
Udai Bhan highlighted the diminishing strength of the ruling government, stating, "The current strength of the Haryana Assembly, which is 88 members, includes 40 BJP members. Previously, the BJP government had the support of JJP MLAs and Independents, but the JJP also withdrew support, and now Independents are also leaving," as reported by Hindustan Times.
"It is now a minority government under Nayab Singh Saini. Saini should resign as he no longer has the right to remain in office," Bhan asserted. In a phone conversation, Digvijay Singh Chautala of the Jannayak Janta Party (JJP), which recently withdrew support from the Manohar Lal Khattar government, urged Hooda to stake a claim to form the new government and stated that his party would work to overthrow the BJP government.
"Now we are in opposition, and the JJP will work to oust this government. Hooda should negotiate with the JJP and Independents and stake a claim to form the new government," said Chautala, Secretary General of the JJP. AAP leader Sushil Gupta called on the Haryana governor to dismiss the BJP government, as per media reports.
"The BJP-led government in Haryana is now in the minority and should resign on moral grounds. I urge the Haryana Governor (Bandaru Dattatreya) to dismiss this government, and immediate elections should be conducted," Gupta emphasized.
The Haryana governor has been informed by the three Independent MLAs about the withdrawal of support from the BJP government. The BJP, with 40 MLAs and the support of two Independent MLAs - Nayan Pal Rawat of Prithla and Rakesh Daultabad of Badshahpur - and Gopal Kanda of the Haryana Lokhit Party in the 88-member House, finds itself in the minority, leaving the government vulnerable.
