Jilted lover attacks girl with acid in Delhi
According to reports the boy used the diluted acid, which is used as toilet cleaner, to attack the girl.
An 18-year old girl was forced to drink acid by a man after she refused to reciprocate his love in south Delhi's Sangam Vihar on Wednesday. According to reports, the accused has confessed to the crime and has been arrested.
The accused told the police that the accused was in love with the girl and wanted to marry her.He was reportedly irked over being refused by the victim.
The girl has been admitted to the AIIMS hospital where she is undergoing medical treatment is stated to be critical.
According to ANI news, the Delhi police received a PCR call at around 10.25 am informing them of the attack.
