Jharkhand Polls: Home Minister Amit Shah Woos Voters To Elect BJP, Calls JJM Govt A 'Burnt Transformer'
Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticised the JMM-led coalition inarkhand, likening it to a malfunctioning transformer. He claimed it failed to the prosperity provided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government. urged voters to support the BJP for peaceful Navami celebrations, promising his participation in Hazaribag if the BJP wins.
Narendra Modi's administration is compared to a high-tension power line by Shah. He explained that while this line provides resources, a transformer is necessary to distribute them locally. According to him, Jharkhand's Chief Minister Hemant Soren's government acts like a burnt transformer, unable to transmit these benefits.

Allegations of Mismanagement
Shah accused the JMM-led government of being involved in several scams. These include Rs 1,000 crore in MGNREGA funds, Rs 600 crore in land deals, and Rs 1,000 crore related to mining and liquor. He alleged that these issues hindered development in the state.
Addressing a rally in Hazaribag, Shah emphasised that the Centre sends substantial funds for development through its high-tension line. However, he claimed these resources are not reaching the people due to mismanagement by the current state government.
Call for Change
Shah urged citizens to replace what he termed as a "burnt transformer" with a more efficient system. He argued that only then would the prosperity sent from the Centre reach every household effectively.
The Union Home Minister also accused the JMM-Congress coalition of misappropriating free rations provided by PM Modi's initiatives. He suggested that this coalition was consuming resources meant for public welfare.
Amit Shah's remarks highlight his party's strategy to gain support in Jharkhand by criticising the current state government's performance. His comments aim to resonate with voters seeking better governance and transparency.
