Jharkhand Polls: BJP Alleges EC Officials Helping CM Hemant Soren's Wife Kalpana Soren In Gandey Seat

In the ongoing Jharkhand assembly elections, BJP has raised concerns about polling agents allegedly influencing votes in favour of Kalpana Soren at the Gandey seat. Voting is underway across 38 seats in 12 districts, marking the final phase of the elections. The polls will remain open until 5 pm, with a voter turnout of 61.47% recorded by 3 pm.

At booth numbers 282 and 338 in Kundalwadah, BJP claims that polling agents are swaying votes towards JMM. This accusation prompted the District Election Officer to take action. CCTV footage has been released by BJP as evidence. Kalpana Soren, wife of CM Hemant Soren, is contesting from Gandey.
