Jharkhand: Myanmar Consul General dies in accident

Pyi Soe was appointed as Consul General at The Consulate-General Of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 6 December 2016.

Myanmar Consul General Pyi Soe was killed in an accident after his car rammed into a truck on Friday in Giridih's Nimiaghat in Jharkhand.

Also, his wife and two others were injured in the mishap, reported ANI.

They were admitted to Mina Hospital in Dumri. Later shifted to state capital Ranchi for better treatment. Giridih's Superintendent of Police Akhilesh B Warrier and District Commissioner Kiran Kumari have reached the hospital.

Pyi Soe car crashed around 12 noon as his Innova car hit a truck while trying to save a biker.

He was appointed as Consul General at The Consulate-General Of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on 6 December 2016.
