Jharkhand: List Of Likely Ministers In Hemant Soren Cabinet

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) leader Hemant Soren, following a decisive victory in the state assembly elections, is primed to assume the Chief Minister position once again on November 28. He has officially resigned and expressed his intention to form the next government to Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar. This move marks a significant political shift in Jharkhand, signaling the commencement of Soren's leadership tenure.

In the recent assembly elections, the JMM-led coalition triumphed over the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) spearheaded by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), securing a commanding victory with 56 of the 81 assembly seats. The coalition, comprising JMM, Congress, Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), and the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation, showcased a strong performance. JMM won 34 seats, Congress 16, RJD four, and CPI(ML) Liberation two. This victory marked an increase from the 2019 election results, where the alliance won 47 seats, underscoring a growing support base for Soren and his coalition partners.
