Jharkhand Exit Poll Result By TimesNow-JVC Favors BJP And AJSU Alliance, Expected To Win 40-44 Seats
The recent exit poll conducted by Times Now JVC for the Jharkhand Assembly Elections suggests a tilt in favor of the NDA. The poll forecasts that the BJP and AJSU alliance is on track to secure between 40 and 44 of the 81 available seats. In contrast, the INDIA bloc is expected to garner between 30 and 40 seats, with a single seat going to other contestants.
In the detailed regional analysis, the exit poll outlines the distribution of seats across five major regions in Jharkhand. Starting with the Santhal Paragana region, which has a total of 18 seats, the poll predicts that the BJP and its allies could win 3 to 4 seats, while the JMM and its partners are likely to claim 13 to 14 seats. Notably, no seats are expected to fall into the hands of other parties in this region.

Moving on to the Palamu region, which comprises 9 seats, the findings suggest a stronger performance for the BJP and its allies, with an anticipated 6 to 9 seats. The JMM and its allies are projected to secure between 1 and 3 seats, leaving no room for other parties to make a mark in this area.
In the South Chota Nagpur region, which has 15 seats up for grabs, the BJP and its allies are expected to win 8 to 10 seats. The JMM and its allies could take home 5 to 7 seats, according to the exit poll predictions. Again, other parties are not expected to win any seats in this region.
The North Chota Nagpur region, with the largest seat count of 25, shows a significant lead for the BJP and its allies, who are projected to win 15 to 16 seats. The JMM and its partners are expected to secure between 6 and 9 seats, with a possibility of other parties winning up to one seat.
In the Kolhan region, which has 14 seats, the exit poll predicts a tight race with both the BJP and its allies and the JMM and its allies securing between 6 and 9 seats. Other parties are not expected to win any seats in this region.
The exit poll results underscore a competitive political landscape in Jharkhand, with the NDA having a slight edge over the INDIA bloc. However, the final outcome will depend on the actual vote count.
