Voting, which began at 7 AM and continued until 5 PM, recorded a strong turnout in Gumla (52.11%), followed by Lohardaga (51.53%), Khunti (51.37%), and Seraikela-Kharsawan (50.71%).
However, Ranchi reported the lowest turnout at 40.98% by 1 PM. A total of 683 candidates are competing, including notable names like former CM Champai Soren and ex-MP Geeta Kora.
Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar also cast his vote, urging citizens to participate enthusiastically in this democratic exercise.
