Jharkhand Class 12 Results 2025 Declared: Girls Outperform Boys, Latehar District Becomes Topper
The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) announced the much-anticipated Class 12 results today, with students across the state logging in to check their scores. This year's Science stream recorded a 79.26% pass rate, with 78,186 of the 98,634 examinees clearing the examination successfully.
Science Stream Highlights
The results revealed a strong performance among Science students, with 38,732 securing First Division honors, while 19,383 passed with Second Division. A modest 63 candidates qualified in the Third Division.

Top Rankers Shine Bright
Topping the Science stream this year is Ankita Dutta from Rajkiyakrit +2 High School, Govindpur, who scored an impressive 477 out of 500 marks. Close behind was Ankit Kumar Sah from Noamundi Inter College with 476 marks, securing the second position. The third rank saw a three-way tie, with Kishor Kumar (Barkagaon), Jagannath Singh Choudhary (Chas), and Himanshu Kumar (Bishnugarh) each scoring 474 marks.
Girls Continue Their Winning Streak
Female candidates maintained their academic dominance, outperforming boys in both Science and Commerce streams. In Science, girls achieved an 80.53% pass rate, significantly higher than the boys' 48.43%. The Commerce stream saw an even wider gap, with 95% of girls passing compared to 86% of boys.
Latehar Leads District Performance
Latehar district stood out with a perfect 100% pass rate, setting a benchmark for excellence. Other high-performing districts included:
Lohardaga (98.69%)
Simdega (98.04%)
Jamtara (97.72%)
Pakur (96.29%)
Meanwhile, Kodarma (86.97%), Palamu (85.79%), and Hazaribagh (84.79%) also posted commendable results.
