Jharkhand Alliance Sets Strategy for Upcoming Assembly Session
Partners of the JMM-led ruling alliance in Jharkhand convened on Thursday to strategise for the upcoming monsoon session of the assembly, starting on July 26. The meeting, held at the Chief Minister's residence, saw legislators from JMM, Congress, and RJD expressing confidence in addressing opposition queries, according to a leader from the ruling coalition.

Jharkhand minister Banna Gupta urged the opposition to use the session for public benefit. "The time of the House is very important. The opposition should not misuse it," he stated. Hafizul Hasan, a JMM legislator and minister, echoed this sentiment, saying, "All ruling alliance partners will be united in the House and will reply to every question of the opposition. We hope the opposition will cooperate to ensure the smooth functioning of the House."
Opposition’s Focus on Key Issues
The opposition plans to highlight several critical issues during the session. These include corruption, law and order concerns, alleged Bangladeshi infiltration, and unfulfilled government promises. Leader of the opposition Amar Bauri stressed their commitment to addressing matters that impact state residents.
BJP leader Amar Bauri criticised the government for not delivering on its promises. "The government has to answer why it cheated people by not fulfilling any of the promises such as providing jobs to youth and unemployment allowances," he said. He also raised concerns about deteriorating law and order and demographic changes due to alleged Bangladeshi infiltration.
During their meeting, ruling alliance members expressed readiness to tackle all questions posed by opposition members. They emphasised unity among JMM, Congress, and RJD legislators in ensuring effective responses during assembly sessions.
The monsoon session is expected to be a platform for intense discussions on various issues affecting Jharkhand's populace. Both ruling and opposition parties are preparing to address these concerns comprehensively.
The ruling coalition aims for a productive session with cooperation from all parties involved. They believe that addressing public issues transparently will benefit everyone in Jharkhand.
The assembly session beginning on July 26 is anticipated to be crucial for both sides as they debate significant state matters. Ensuring smooth proceedings will be essential for addressing key issues effectively.
