Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024: BJP To Release Manifesto On October 3
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will begin unveiling key points of its manifesto for the Jharkhand assembly elections starting October 3. The elections for the 81-member assembly are scheduled for later this year, with dates expected to be revealed next month.
The BJP's 'Parivartan Yatra', initiated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, is set to traverse 5,400 km across 81 assembly segments in 24 districts of Jharkhand. This journey will culminate on October 2. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to address the concluding rally in Hazaribag on that day.

Manifesto Release and Rally
Sarma informed reporters about the manifesto release after assessing preparations for the event. He stated, "We will start releasing the key points of our manifesto from October 3. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will deliver his address at the concluding rally of the BJP's Parivartan Yatra in Hazaribag on October 2."
Sarma, who serves as BJP's co-in-charge for Jharkhand elections, criticised the JMM-led coalition government. He accused them of supporting infiltrators and asserted that his party would expel them once they assume power in Jharkhand.
Political Strategy and Criticism
The BJP aims to strengthen its position in Jharkhand through its extensive campaign efforts. By covering a significant distance across various districts, they hope to connect with voters and present their vision for the state.
The upcoming elections hold significant importance for both local and national politics. The BJP's strategy involves addressing key issues and presenting a strong alternative to the current government led by JMM.
As political activities intensify in Jharkhand, parties are gearing up for a competitive electoral battle. The BJP's focus remains on highlighting their plans and criticising opponents' policies to gain voter support.
With preparations underway, all eyes are on how these developments unfold in the coming weeks. The political landscape in Jharkhand is expected to witness dynamic changes as parties vie for dominance.
