JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Registration, Important Dates & Everything You Need To Know
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025 session 2 today, January 31. Candidates can register and fill out their application forms at jeemain.nta.nic.in until February 24, at 9 pm. The fee payment facility will close at 11:50 pm on the same day.
JEE Main 2025 session 2 is expected to take place between 1 and 8 April, with the exact schedule to be released later.

JEE Main 2025 Session 2: Dates
- Application window opens: January, 31
- Application window closes: February, 24 (9 pm)
- Fee payment window closes: February, 24 (11:50 pm)
- Application form correction window: To be announced on the NTA website
- Exam city intimation slip: Second week of March 2025
- Admit card release: 3 days before the exam date
- Exam dates: Between April 1 and 8 (tentative)
- Result declaration: By April, 17
Candidates who have already applied for session 1 can log in to their account, update their application form, and pay the fee for session 2. Fresh candidates, or those who will take JEE Main for the first time this year, will need to first register, fill out the application form, and then pay the exam fee.
Instructions For Uploading Documents
Candidates must upload the following documents in the specified formats:
1. Photograph: Recent passport-size, colour photo with 80% of the face visible (without a mask), taken against a white background. The image must be between 10 kb to 300 kb, in JPG/JPEG format.
2. Signature: Clear signature between 10 kb to 50 kb, in JPG/JPEG format.
3. Class 10 certificate/marks sheet: Scanned copy in PDF format (10 kb to 300 kb), named 'Class-X Certificate'.
4. PwD/PwBD certificate (if applicable): Scanned copy in PDF format (10 kb to 300 kb), named 'Disability Certificate'.
How To Apply for JEE Main Session 2
1. Visit jeemain.nta.nic.in.
2. Open the registration page for session 2.
3. Fresh candidates should complete the registration process; existing candidates can skip this step.
4. Log in to your account, fill out the application form, and upload the required documents.
5. Complete the payment and submit the form.
6. Save the confirmation page for future reference.
Session 1 Exam Update
The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam took place on January 22, 23, 24, 28, 29, and 30. The test was held at 598 centres across 284 cities, with an overall attendance rate of around 94.5 per cent. The session 1 results will be announced by February 12.
