JD(U) leader criticises Modi govt over Jat reservation
Ghaziabad, Mar 21: JD(U) general secretary K C Tyagi today criticised the lackadaisical attitude of Narendra Modi government in defending the reservation for Jat community in the Supreme Court.
Talking to reporters, Tyagi said that personally he was not comfortable with the Supreme Court judgement, which had set aside the notification issued by the previous UPA government to include Jats in the Central list of OBC for according benefits of reservation to them.

Stating that Jat community was still socially backward in 9 states, he condemned the Centre's decision to desist from filing a review petition and stressed that it must contemplate and think over it again.
