Jayalalithaa : I have taken a rebirth with the prayers of people and party cadre

Chennai, Nov 13 For the first time since her hospitalisation J Jayalalithaa addressed the people of Tamil Nadu on Sunday.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister's statement was released by AIADMK late Sunday evening. In her statement to the people, Jayalalithaa has thanked her supporters and party workers for their prayers. "It is by your prayers that I have been given a rebirth. I wait to recover fully and resume my work for the people", the TN CM said in a statement.

J Jayalalithaa's statement has come with just a few days before Bypolls in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry. The CM in her statement has also urged the people of Tamil Nadu to vote for AIADMK. "I request people of Tamil Nadu to vote for aiadmk in Aravarankurichi, Thiruparankundram , Puducherry and Thanjavur. Though I am not able to come in person and campaign. My heart lies there", said Jayalalithaa in her statement.

She also appealed to the party cadre to work towards victory with a huge margin in the Bypolls and expressed her regret over her supporters committing suicide after her hospitalisation. This is the first time that J Jayalalithaa has addressed her party workers and people after her hospitalisation on September 22.
