Jayalalithaa's health: Bus services between Karnataka-TN suspended

Bengaluru, Dec 5: The Karnataka Road Transport Corporation has temporarily suspended bus services to Tamil Nadu in the wake of J Jayalalithaa suffering a cardiac arrest.

The decision to however stop the bus service was taken after stone pelting incidents were reported at Tiruvannamalai.
The decision was taken was a precautionary measure.
There is however no clarity on when the bus services to Tamil Nadu from Karnataka would resume.
Meanwhile there is heightened security along the Karnataka-TN border.
Police personnel have been moved to the border to ensure that there are no untoward incidents that take place.
Meanwhile there is heavy deployment of police outside the Appolo hospital where the Tamil Nadu, chief minister, J Jayalalithaa is being treated after suffering a cardiac arrest.
Scores of supporters have gathered outside the Appolo hospital where prayers are being offered for the speedy recovery of the CM.
The police have had a tough time in controlling the crowd which gathered in large numbers after the news regarding the cardiac arrest broke.
Barricading was done at the hospital area in Chennai to keep a check on the crowd.
