Jaya suffers cardiac arrest: All AIADMK MLAs told to assemble at Apollo hospital by 11 am
Several party leaders and workers rushed to Chennai last night after news regarding Jayalalithaa broke out
Chennai, Dec 5: All AIADMK MLAs have been told to assemble at the Apollo Hospital in Chennai by 11 AM. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, J Jayalalithaa who is admitted at the Apollo Hospital is being treated after she suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday.
Several party leaders and workers rushed to Chennai last night after news regarding Jayalalithaa broke out. There is no clarity, howeve,r why the MLAs have been told to assemble outside the hospital.
There is expected to some announcement and hence the MLAs have been asked to reach Apollo hospital by 11 AM.

Meanwhile there is heavy security outside the hospital. Police deployment is heavy across the state which has been put on very high alert.
On Sunday, the Governor of Tamil Nadu, Vidyasagar Rao paid a ten minute visit to Apollo. He then briefed Union Home Minister, Rajnath Singh about the situation.
Singh is understood to have told Rao to ensure that security in the state is high and the centre would provide all assistance.
