Jats to get reservation, Khattar govt to bring up bill in next session: BJP
New Delhi, Feb 21: The Jat community will get reservation in jobs and a bill will be brought in the next session of the Haryana assembly in this regard, a senior BJP leader said on Sunday.

BJP leader Anil Jain, who is in charge of party affairs in Haryana, said this here after a meeting of central ministers, BJP leaders and leaders of the Jat community and Khaps with Home Minister Rajnath Singh.
Meanwhile official sources reported that Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar is likely to visit Rohtak, the epicentre of Jats stir for quota, to take stock of the situation in the town.

Khattar along with some of his senior Ministers and top officials is closely monitoring the situation, the sources added.
Khattar, who became the first non-Jat Chief Minister in Haryana after 18 years in 2014, has appealed to the people to maintain law and order in the state.
The Jats have been agitating to press for reservation under OBC quota.
