Jaswant Singh suffers head injury, admitted to hospital

New Delhi, Aug 8: Former BJP leader Jaswant Singh has been admitted to the ICU of Army Research and Referral Hospital here after he slipped at his residence and sustained head injury.

The 76-year-old former Defence Minister fell down at his residence around 11 PM last night following which he was rushed to the hospital, sources said.

Singh was expelled from the BJP early this year after he decided to contest the Lok Sabha polls from Barmer in Rajasthan as an Independent when the party decided to field someone else. He had lost the election.
