Jan Ki Baat-Asianet Exit Polls: BJP likely to emerge as single largest party
Jan Ki Baat and Asianet News exit poll has predicted the ruling BJP to emerge as the single largest party in the 2023 Karnataka Assembly polls.

As per the survey, the BJP government is predicted to win somewhere between 94 to 117 seats. It has to be noted that the magic number is 113 in the 224-member assembly.
However, Congress is giving a tough fight to the saffron party as it is predicted to win 91-106 seats. The JDS is likely to bag 14-24 seats with the others winning two seats.
The survey claims that the BJP might get a vote share of 37.5 per cent to 39 per cent. Whereas Congress is predicted to get a 38-40 per cent vote share. The JDS is projected to get 14-17 per cent in Karnataka.
Interestingly, the BJP is predicted to perform well in the Old Mysuru region and the party is projected to bag 15 seats. It means the JDS is underperforming in its stronghold. This is helping the two national parties.
While Congress is predicted to win 24 seats in the Old Mysuru region, the JDS is likely to win 16 seats.
