Jammu, March 15: After fresh snowfall and rain prompted shutdown of the strategic Jammu-Srinagar national highway, authorities on Tuesday restored the road for traffic.

"Landslides in the Nasri sector and fresh snowfall in Tunnel and Nowgam areas of Bannihal sector had forced closure of the highwayon Monday evening."
