Jammu and Kashmir: Police arrested Jawahar Nagar youth

, Dec 8: Police on Sunday evening arrested a class 12th student of Delhi Public School for allegedly misbehaving with SHO.

The family members of arrested student Shariq Ahmad Khan of Jawaharnagar said SHO Kothibagh was furious after he blew horn and tried to over take the police vehicle, "this made SHO furious who got down and dragged out shariq from vehicle and thrashed him,'' family sources said. "All the guards of SHO got down and thrashed him mercilessly and roughed him up in a vehicle".

However, SDPO Kothibagh Sheikh Faisal said the boy "misbehaved with SHO and trashed his operator and mine as well," he added.
