Jalgaon Train Accident: Here Are The Helpline Numbers

Initially reported as six deaths, district authorities later revised the death toll to eight. This incident occurred around 5 pm, and investigations are underway to determine the exact cause of the panic and the subsequent tragedy.
Authorities believe the panic may have been triggered by smoke from a hot axle, leading passengers to mistakenly assume there was a fire. In their haste, they pulled the alarm chain and evacuated the train, which ultimately contributed to the disaster.
