A woman linked to a notorious gangster has been detained for her alleged involvement in the murder of an Air India crew member in Greater Noida earlier this year, officials confirmed. Suraj Maan, the brother of imprisoned gangster Parvesh Maan, was fatally shot by three men on motorcycles while heading to a gym near his home. This incident is believed to be part of an ongoing gang rivalry between Parvesh Maan and another jailed gangster, Kapil Maan.

Kajal Khattri, the wife of Kapil Maan and known as "Lady Don," was arrested for allegedly plotting Suraj's murder. The 29-year-old was captured at a hotel in Hisar, Haryana. Additional Commissioner of Police Crime Sanjay Bhatia stated that Kajal had been managing Kapil's gang operations while he was incarcerated. The Uttar Pradesh Police had offered a Rs 25,000 reward for her capture.

Bhatia mentioned that Kajal had been evading arrest since the case was registered in January. Multiple police teams were deployed to locate her, leading to her eventual arrest in Hisar.
