Jagan walking Lalu's path: TDP minister

-of corruption, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) said that his fate would be similar to that of Fodder scam accused RJD chief

In a statement here, TDP politburo member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu said,"Lalu Prasad has been found guilty in the Rs 950 crore fodder scam. Jagan, who is facing allegations of having swindled Rs 1 lakh crore, will also meet with the same fate."

He further emphasized saying, Lalu's graft was not available, but there are striking proof of Jagan's involvement in the disproportionate property scam in the form of palaces and companies in fishy deals.

Calling Jagan's idea on "honest politics" an eye-washer, he said that it isakin to "demons preaching scriptures". "His alk of secularism is nothing but a satan reciting the Holy Bible", he further added, probably hinting at Jagan's mother YS Vijayamma's act of holding a Bible while addressing a public gathering.

"Is addressing political meetings with the Bible in hand secularism?", he asked.

Yanamala snubbed Jagan's speech on united Andhra saying that it was his party that had supported the bifurcation and had wanted the Centre to concede the same under Article 3 of the Constitution.

"The YSRC has struck a deal with the Congress President Sonia Gandhi over the bifurcation of the state and now he is enacting a street play on united Andhra," the minister lashed.

"I wonder how the governor of the state had granted an audience to Jagan, who spent 16 months in jail for allegedly siphoning off Rs 1 lakh crore," he further added.
