J&K: Two Jaish-e-Mohammad hideouts busted

The security forces on Friday busted two hideouts of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district. The operation was carried out in Tral area.

As per reports, a search operation is underway in the area.

"Two major Jaish hideouts were busted by security forces at Naristan in Tral area," PTI quoted an official as saying.

On Wednesday, a massive search operation was launched by Security forces in Shopian district in Jammu and Kashmir in which 13 villages were cordoned off. A joint team of the Special Operation Group (SOG) Shopian, 44, 62, and 1 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) of the Indian Army and 14th battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) cordoned off the villages.

The Army is all set to make the final push in Kashmir. The presence of the Armed forces has been increased considerably at Shopian district which is considered to be the last bastion of terrorists in South Kashmir.
