J&K: School teacher found dead with throat slit

Srinagar, Oct 18: A school teacher's throat was found slit in Jammu and Kashmir's Shopian district, police said. The police have a suspicion that terrorists may have murdered him.

Aijaz Ahmad Lone was found dead in Wathoo village of Shopian, a police official said.

"We are investigating the case," the official said.

Three terrorists were recently killed in a security operation inside the teacher's house.

The police say he was not an informer for any security agency and had no link with the security operation in his house.
