BJP a party for all! Gives tickets to 13 Muslim candidates in its first list for J&K polls

BJP is in full mood to form its government in the hilly state of Jammu & Kashmir. Some of these Muslims candidates who found names in the party's first list are Fayyaz Bhatt from Devsar, Sofi Yusuf from Pahalgam, Mushtaq Noorbadi from Noorbad assembly constituency.
J&K in BJP's favour
As per senior journalist Asif Sohafa conditions in Jammu and Kashmir are in BJP's favour this time. The valley too is in mood to vote for BJP under Modi's charm. People of Kashmir too feel that Modi will bring the state back on the track of development. Hence, they feel there is no harm in giving an opportunity to the BJP.
Experts are of the view that the ruling National Conference (NC) too is mulling over entering a post poll alliance with the BJP. NC knows it very well that it is facing high anti-incumbency in the state and the people of Kashmir are averse to going with the party this time around. Hence, it is into party's interest to associate with the BJP which is gaining grounds in the state.
BJP to rely on star campaigner Modi
On the other hand, the BJP is once again going to rely heavily on its star campaigner and poster boy Narendra Modi who ensured a historic win for the party in the recently concluded assembly polls in Maharashtra and Haryana. Hence, the PM is going to campaign heavily in poll-bound J&K to script another historic win for the party. The PM is likely to address ten rallies in the state.
