J&K polls: BJP candidate thrashes voter inside a polling booth in Shopian
Shopian, Dec 14: BJP candidate from Shopian constituency, Javed Ahmad Qadri, Sunday allegedly thrashed a voter inside a polling station, reports said.
Qadri thrashed an unidentified man in presence of the polling staff inside the polling station at Moochwa in south Kashmir Shopian district.
Qadri accused the PDP and NC workers of committing malpractices in the elections. Meanwhile polling was going on smoothly in all the segments of Anantnag and Shopian districts, sources said.
