J&K police advises its personnel ‘to exercise extreme caution' while visiting homes
There have been several incidents in recent times where militants have barged into the homes of policemen and warned of dire consequences.
In the wake of attacks on homes of policemen, the Jammu and Kashmir police has asked its personnel in South Kashmir 'to exercise extreme caution' while visiting their residences, said reports.

An advisory issued by the department states that there have been attempts to damage their homes in recent months.
In March, militants reportedly barged into the house of a senior police officer in South Kashmir and threatened his family members.
Four militants barged into the house of SP-rank police officer in Khudwani village and warned his family of dire consequences if he does not quit job.
Prior to that, a group of militants forced their entry into residence of jail superintendent of Baramulla jail and ransacked the house.
There have been around five such incidents in the last couple of months in the valley.
