J&K: Man arrested with 42 pouches of illicit liquor
Jammu, Jan 5: A person was arrested with 42 pouches of illicit liquor from the outskirts of the city today.
Tej Ram, a resident of Muthi area of Jammu, was intercepted at Domana area of the city today, police said, adding that while searching his belongings, 42 pouches of illicit liquor were recovered from him.
The accused was arrested under various sections of Jammu and Kashmir Excise Act, they said.
The matter is being investigated further, police added.
