J&K: Jawan injured as terrorists open fire during search operation at Bandipora

An army man has been reportedly injured on Thursday after terrorists opened fire on a search party in Paribal area of Hajin in Bandipora district of Jammu and Kashmir.

A cordon and search operation was launched over specific inputs of terrorists hiding in the region.

According to a media report, terrorists hiding in the village opened fire after a search party approached them, leaving an army man Gobind Singh of 31 RR injured.

Meanwhile, people took to streets and staged protests in a bid to help the terrorists escape.
