J&K Govt Sets Up Special Food Stall 'Millet Hub' For Foreign Delegates During G20 Summit
In the ongoing G20 meeting in Srinagar, a special food stall 'Millet Hub' was installed for foreign delegates at Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC) in Srinagar.
Under India's presidency, Srinagar is currently hosting the third G20 Working Group Meeting. Notable, the United Nations General Assembly at the initiative of India declared 2023 as the International Year of Millets in March 2021.

This unique initiative, a collaboration between the Jammu and Kashmir Rural Livelihood Mission (JKRLM) and the Grass Root Innovation Augmentation Network (GIAN), aims to showcase the culinary potential of millets while providing a platform for entrepreneurs from self-help groups to exhibit their skills.
Embracing the versatility of millets, the menu offers a wide array of delectable dishes ranging from traditional millet breads and savory snacks to innovative millet-based desserts. Each item reflects the creativity and craftsmanship of the self-help groups who have expertly blended traditional recipes with contemporary flavors.
