J&K: 3 terrorists killed in Tral encounter

It is however not clear which group the terrorists belong to. An initial analysis suggests that they may be part of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.

Three terrorists have been killed in an encounter at Tral in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir.

The Army along with the Jammu and Kashmir police launched the operation following a search operation that was conducted on the basis of intelligence inputs. The entire area has been cordoned off and the security forces are engaging with the terrorists.

Inspector General of Police Munir Khan said that all the three terrorists were killed. They were part of the Zakir Musa group. We have recovered 2 AK 47s and one pistol from the Tral encounter site, he also said.
