J&K: Cop abducted by terrorists from Kulgam found dead
Srinagar, July 21: The body of a Jammu and Kashmir police constable, who was abducted by terrorists from his residence in Kulgam district, has been found, a police official said today.

Constable Saleem Shah, who was on leave, was abducted by terrorists from his residence in the Mutalhama area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir last night, he said.
A case has been registered and efforts are underway to nab the killers of the constable, he added.
Shah is the 25th policeman killed by militants in Jammu and Kashmir this year -- most of them in attacks in south Kashmir.
Earlier this month, police constable Javeed Ahmad Dar was abducted from his house at Vehil in Shopian district and later killed by militants, a few kilometres away from his house.
Last month, Aurangzeb, an Indian Army soldier, was abducted from a private vehicle when he was going home for Eid holidays in Shopian. Later, his body was recovered from a Pulwama village.
