J&K: BSF Thwarts Cross-Border Terror Bid, Inflicts Heavy Damage On Pakistan Post
The Border Security Force (BSF) thwarted a significant infiltration attempt from Pakistan along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district during the intervening night of May 8 and 9, 2025. In the operation, at least seven terrorists were killed by Indian forces.
According to BSF sources, the infiltration was being facilitated from the Pakistan Post Dhandhar, which was heavily targeted and sustained extensive damage during the action. A thermal imaging clip released by the BSF captured the destruction of the Pakistani post involved in aiding the infiltration attempt.

"A major infiltration bid was foiled on the night of May 8-9, 2025, at the International Boundary in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, with seven terrorists neutralized and the Pakistan Post Dhandhar severely damaged," a BSF official confirmed.
A BSF official revealed that seven terrorists were killed and the Pakistan Post Dhandhar was seriously damaged on the night of May 8-9, 2025, near the International Boundary in Samba, Jammu and Kashmir, after a significant infiltration attempt was thwarted.
The operation takes place while tensions along the western border are rising due to numerous drone incursions and ceasefire violations. In order to stop terrorist elements from trying to exploit the already unstable situation, the BSF is still on high alert.
