J&K: Army successfully foils infiltration bid by Pak terrorists in Tangdhar sector
The Indian Army on Thursday said that an attempted infiltration bid by Pakistan terrorists was successfully repulsed by alert Army troops in Tangdhar Sector in North Kashmir during the early hours of 31 January 2018.

The army said that there were a group of four of 4 terrorists who attempted to infiltrate under the cover of darkness and thick jungles in the mountainous terrain in Kalban in Tangdhar sector.
''A group of 4 terrorists attempted to infiltrate under the cover of darkness and thick jungles in the mountainous terrain in Kalban in Tangdhar but were spotted by troops. They were engaged in heavy fire & terrorists were seen running away into thick jungles towards LoC,'' Army said.
The army launched search operations in the Tangdhar sector and is underway.
''Repeated attempts of infiltration in North Kashmir continue to be foiled by the alert Army units based on sound intelligence thus eliminating the nefarious designs of Pak forces to foment trouble in the Valley,'' Army further said.
