J&K: 2 suspected militants arrested from Srinagar hotel
Srinagar, Jan 4: Security forces on Sunday apprehended two suspected militants from a hotel in the city in a predawn swoop, police said.
"Two suspects were nabbed by the personnel of Special Operations Group (SOG) of the police from a hotel at Court Road here at 2.30 am on Sunday," a senior police officer said.

He said the duo -- identified as Tanveer Ahmad Baba of Kupwara and Shabir Ahmad from Nawab Bazar area of the city -- were taken to SOG headquarters here for questioning.
Although the police official did not elaborate on the case, sources said some explosives were also recovered from the apprehended persons.
