ISM Dhanbad student leaves from Howrah station for home; goes missing
Bengaluru, Dec 28: After 8 days of investigation by the police department there is still no whereabouts of 18-year-old Anurag Jagtap who was a student of Indian Institute of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.
Anurag last spoke to his parents on Friday, Dec 18 at around 9:30 pm, and informed that he would be boarding Azad Hind Express from Howrah Railway Station to for his home town Pune.

But Anurag never reached home and it has been almost 10 days since his parents heard from him. Finally, after a long wait his mother Varsha Bharat Jagtap visited the Pune GRP to file a missing report.
His mother is handling situation alone because the boy's father is posted in Gandhinagar.
According to the distressed mother, Pune GRP is not supporting in the investigation to find her missing son.
On Monday Dec 28, Anurag's mother told OneIndia, "He is a student of second year and till now we have not received any clue regarding our son's whereabouts."
She also said that "we are still visiting the Pune police station to get any information related to our son and even requested if anybody get any information about Anurag can give information to my mobile number on 919405377036."
Meanwhile, Anurag's parents also spoke to Pune and Howrah GRP to get any clue of their missing son.
His father also complained that Pune GRP they have not transfered any information to Howrah GRP.
However, Swapan Das, Investigating Officer at Howrah GRP said, "We have already started our investigation and have sent a message to all GRPs across India. We have also informed the CID missing squad to investigate the matter."
Talking about Anurag, his mother said, "He is jolly in nature and calm."
Apart from all information she even added that Anurag cares about the society too.
While adding further detail about Anurag his friends said. "He is a member of the college Handball team and Kartavya, a non-profit voluntary group at ISM."
