ISIS leader in Afghanistan killed
New Delhi, July 11: In what could be termed as a major victory for security forces a key ISIS leader in Afghanistan was killed in a drone strike today.

Hafiz Saeed one of the top commanders of the ISIS was killed in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region today in a drone strike.
The strike took place at Achin, Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province late on Friday night, the Afghan intelligence said. This is considered to be a major blow for the ISIS which has been trying to build up an outfit in Afghanistan.

The strikes were carried out by the US led coalition. The Afghanistan intelligence agency NDS also provided support to the raid. The ISIS has however not made any statement regarding the attack. There has been no confirmation or denial about the strike on the media sites run by the ISIS.
