The video reportedly features a Bengali YouTuber, Sofik SK, and content creator Sonali (Dustu Sonali), though these claims remain unverified. Both creators have significant followings online, with Sofik SK running the Palli Gram TV channel and Sonali having over 312,000 Instagram followers. The duo often collaborates on sketches and vlogs, adding to public curiosity about the authenticity of the clip.

In response to the controversy, both Sofik SK and Sonali issued statements on social media. They confirmed that a private video existed but alleged it was leaked by a friend who had attempted to blackmail them. Both creators emphasized that the leak violated trust and urged the public not to share the 19-minute viral video, highlighting the emotional toll the incident had taken.

Complicating the situation, a separate video showing a young woman lying motionless on the ground circulated online. Some users linked it to the leaked MMS, suggesting a suicide attempt. Authorities have not confirmed any connection, and experts warn that unverified claims can exacerbate distress and spread misinformation.
