Is Instagram Down Again? Reports Surge After Recent Outage

Instagram experienced a widespread outage today, leaving thousands of users unable to access the popular social network app. According to reports from Downdetector.com, issues with the app began surfacing shortly before 1 pm, affecting a significant number of users.

As per the data from Downdetector.com, a total of 2,757 users reported problems with Instagram. Of these reports, 90% mentioned issues with the app itself, while 5% reported problems with the website and another 5% cited difficulties with the login feature.

This latest outage comes just days after a similar disruption affected Facebook, Instagram's parent company, where users were unable to log in due to a supposed error with the site's login system.

Frustrated users took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with the recurring outages. One user tweeted, "Instagram down again? My word, twice in five days...." Another user added, "How is Instagram down AGAIN?!".

Despite the widespread reports of issues, Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, has not yet issued an official statement regarding the outage. As of now, Meta's status page shows no known issues with Instagram's services.
