Is Congress Moving Its Leaders To Resorts: DKS Responds

There are reports that the Karnataka Congress is sending its leaders to resorts ahead of the announcement of the results.

Congress chief in Karnataka, D K Shivakumar said that these reports are wrong. He said the party will not move anyone to resorts until the results are announced on Saturday.

Top Congress leaders held two crucial meetings ahead of counting day. Following the meetings, Shivakumar told reporters to wait for the results.

"We are just doing our job. Let's wait for the results," Shivakumar said.

There are hectic parleys on in all political parties. The fight at the moment seems tight. Current trends suggest that the JD(S) could end up playing kingmaker, even though the party has denied being in touch with either the BJP and Congress.

A majority of the exit polls had given an edge to the Congress over the ruling BJP. However all exit polls have suggested that Karnataka could throw up a hung verdict.
