Is Congress Leader Kamal Nath Joining BJP? Here's What Former MP CM Says
Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Kamal Nath on Sunday reiterated that he would inform the media if he is switching to the BJP.
Rumours in the political circle have claimed that the veteran leader may jump ship to BJP during his ongoing visit to Delhi.

Senior Congress leader arrived in the national capital on Saturday. On being asked if he is joining the BJP, former Madhya Pradesh CM on Sunday said, "I said yesterday that if there is something like that, I will inform you all. I did not talk to anyone..."
As per the reports, Kamal Nath is not happy with the party for refusing to give a Rajya Sabha ticket to him and also Rahul Gandhi being opposed to him since the party lost the assembly polls late last year.
It may be recalled that Nath was replaced as the party's Madhya Pradesh unit chief following its rout in the assembly polls, in which the BJP retained power winning 163 seats in the 230-member House. The Congress managed to win just 66 seats.
Nath's senior party colleague Digvijaya Singh said that the former MP CM is not leaving the Congress. "I am constantly in touch with Kamal Nath, the Congress leadership is having discussions with him. A person like him, who started with Congress, whom we all considered to be the third son of Indira Gandhi, has always supported Congress and has been a pillar of the Congress party. He was the cabinet minister in the Centre, State Congress Committee President and Chief Minister. He got all the posts. I don't think he will leave the party," he told reporters on Sunday.
On Sunday, Kamal Nath did not deny or confirm the development. "It is not about denying, you are saying this, you people are getting excited. I am not getting excited, this side or that side, but if there would be any such thing, I would inform you first."
On the other hand, the Madhya Pradesh MP has said that it is ready to welcome Kamal Nath and his son Nakul Nath to its party fold.
Meanwhile, rumours in the political circles claimed that another senior leader Manish Tewari would quit the Congress and join the BJP.
