Irom Sharmila refuses medical examination, detained again by police

Sharmila, who was released on Wednesday continued her protest against the presence of Armed Forces Special Power Act (AFSPA) in Manipur, refused to undergo a medical examination following her release.
After initial resistance Sharmila detained by the police on Friday. Police has been deployed at the site from where she is protesting.
After she was released she said that she won't be force fed by anyone. "I will not take any force feed this time. I will not allow any medical set up," she said. Sharmila has been without nutrition for 40 hours now.
Sharmila has been on an indefinite fast since November 2000 , demanding the replusion of AFSPA from the state. She was charged with attempting to commit suicide.
