IRCTC Login Error! Railway Ticket Booking Service Unavailable on Website, App
The online railway ticket booking service provided by IRCTC is currently facing some outages, causing inconvenience to users. Numerous complaints have been flooding Twitter as people encounter difficulties while attempting to book tickets on both the IRCTC website and mobile app during peak hours.
The IRCTC team has acknowledged the issue, stating that it is due to technical reasons and their technical experts are working diligently to resolve it. They assure users that they will notify as soon as the problem is fixed.

Upon logging into the IRCTC website, users are greeted with the message: "DUE TO MAINTENANCE ACTIVITY E-TICKETING SERVICE IS NOT AVAILABLE. PLEASE TRY LATER. FOR CANCELLATION/FILE TDR, PLEASE CALL AT CUSTOMER CARE NO. 14646, 0755-6610661 & 0755-4090600 OR MAIL AT [email protected]. An alternative of IRCTC to book train ticket."

Those attempting to book tickets may consider utilizing other B2C (business-to-consumer) players such as Amazon, Makemytrip, and others, as suggested by the Indian Railways. They assure users that the technical team of CRIS (Centre for Railway Information Systems) is actively working to resolve the issue.
Given that the timing of this outage coincides with slots reserved for tatkal bookings, the situation could be exacerbated. Tatkal booking for AC class (2A/3A/CC/EC/3E) commences at 10:00 am and for Non-AC class (SL/FC/2S) at 11:00 am.
As of now, IRCTC, an online platform that facilitates railway ticketing for passengers, is striving to rectify the technical glitch to restore smooth ticket booking services.
